We connect you with verified service providers and build them advanced tools to be the best. Direct contact. No commission.
CityBest is a Croatian digital platform that connects users with the best local service providers across different cities.
What sets it apart is exclusivity — in every city we present only one verified provider per service category.
CityBest is a directory of local service providers built around one simple unit: a service in a city. Taxi in Split, cleaning in Zagreb, towing in Rijeka — every combination is one page, and on that page there is one business.
Croatian cities live on citybest.hr; cities across the rest of the EU on citybest.eu. The platform runs in four languages — English, Croatian, German and Italian — because local services are used by locals and visitors alike.
Behind every page stands a real, verified business with a name, a phone number, prices and photos. Nothing on CityBest is a lead form pretending to be a company.
Most directories list everyone and sell the top spot. We do the opposite: each city and service gets exactly one verified provider. No ranked lists, no sponsored rows, no auction deciding who appears first.
This cuts both ways. Customers don't wade through twenty near-identical profiles guessing which ones are real. Providers aren't outbid each month by whoever spends more on ads.
It also means a page only exists when a real business stands behind it. If no provider has claimed a service in a city, there is no half-empty placeholder — the page simply isn't there.
Using CityBest is deliberately simple: choose a service, choose a city, and you land on the page of the verified provider there — with their real contact details, prices and services.
From there you deal with the business directly. We never sit in the middle of the job, the price or the conversation.
Verified is not a badge we hand out for signing up. Before a page goes live, we check that the provider is a real, registered business, that the contact details work, and that the listed services are ones it actually delivers.
Review doesn't stop at publishing. Pages are moderated continuously, and a page that no longer meets the bar goes offline — because a directory is only as trustworthy as its weakest entry.
Providers claim the page for their service and city. You create the page yourself, edit everything from a dashboard with a live preview, and see exactly what customers will see before anything goes public.
Pricing is deliberately flat, so it never grows against you: one monthly price per page, and everything a customer pays you is yours.
Half of what makes a directory trustworthy is what it refuses to do.
