Terms of Service

CityBest is a marketplace platform connecting users with verified local service providers. The platform is available at citybest.hr and citybest.eu.

CityBest does not provide services directly. We facilitate connections between users and independent service providers.

Any business can create a CityBest account by signing in with Google and choosing a service and a city. This creates a free candidate page: a full page at its own address that is not listed on Google or on CityBest and is visible only to people who have the link. One account can hold up to three pages.

Before a page can go live, CityBest verifies the business (a registry check of the business name, owner and contact details). We may decline or withdraw verification, and remove a page, if the information is incomplete or false, if quality criteria are not met, or if these terms are violated.

A verified business puts its page online by activating a subscription (section 3). The candidate page itself stays free for as long as the account exists, but it does not appear on Google or on CityBest until the page is activated.

A paid page costs 20 € per month per page (one service in one city), billed monthly in advance through Stripe. The amount shown at checkout is final. Paying activates the page immediately and holds the first position for that service and city for as long as the subscription is active. No other provider can take it while you pay. Each page has its own subscription.

If two providers pay for the same position at the same time, the payment that completes first wins. The other is cancelled and refunded in full.

Payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. CityBest does not store your card details. You receive an invoice by email for every payment. By using the service you also accept the Stripe Terms of Service.

You can cancel a page's subscription at any time in your account on the map (Billing). There are no penalties and no minimum term.

After cancelling, the page stays live until the end of the paid period. It then stays online for a further 7 days and returns to candidate status. Refunds for the remaining part of a paid period are not provided.

Deleting a page cancels its subscription immediately. You can also manage payment methods and download Stripe invoices in the Stripe customer portal, or write to us at info@citybest.hr.

If a payment fails, Stripe retries the charge automatically and we notify you by email. While a payment is outstanding the page is no longer protected: another paying provider may take the position.

If the subscription ends because payment could not be collected, the page stays online for 7 days and then returns to candidate status. Once the payment goes through, the paid position is restored if it is still free. If another provider has taken it in the meantime, we cancel your subscription and refund it.

We may update these terms and pricing.

We will notify you of significant changes, and continued use constitutes acceptance.

CityBest operates as an intermediary platform. We are not responsible for the quality of services provided by partners, cancellations, delays, or any disputes between users and service providers.

The platform is provided "as is" without warranties. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or complete accuracy of information.

The following are prohibited:

• Automated data collection from the platform
• Providing false information about your business
• Sharing partner access with unauthorized persons
• Harassing users or other partners
• Manipulating reviews or ratings
• Charging prices significantly higher than advertised

Violation of these rules may result in immediate termination of platform access.

All content on the platform, including design, logos, text, and software, is owned by CityBest or our partners and is protected by copyright.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Croatia. All disputes shall be resolved before the competent courts in Rijeka.
