Taxi Opatija

Opatija, the pearl of the Adriatic, has welcomed travellers since the days of the Austro-Hungarian aristocracy. Set on the Kvarner coast below Učka mountain, it draws visitors all year: summer guests on the Lungomare promenade and winter guests who come for the mild climate.

Common taxi rides run from the waterfront hotels to Rijeka Airport, to the ferry terminal for the islands and along the Opatija Riviera through Volosko, Ika and Lovran. The coastal roads are narrow and the hillside streets steep, so local knowledge helps.

Late in the evening, many rides bring guests home from the open-air concerts of the summer festival.
