Taxi Pula

Pula, the largest city in Istria, is known for its Roman Arena, one of the six largest surviving amphitheatres in the world, and for 3,000 years of history as a Mediterranean port. The Temple of Augustus, the Arch of the Sergii and the harbour sit close together in the centre, with the beaches of Medulin and Fažana nearby.

Common taxi rides go to and from Pula Airport, to the Brijuni Islands ferry in Fažana and along the western coast to Rovinj, Poreč and Umag. Longer trips reach Labin and Rabac on the east coast, and Rijeka, Trieste and Ljubljana beyond the peninsula.

Summer is the busiest season, when the Pula Film Festival and the concerts in the Arena fill the city with visitors.
